Better Co-Creation With New Ranking and Multiselect Questions

Posted 22 Feb 2022

There are many ways to co-create together. From asking questions, to sharing designs, and even using augmented reality, the possibilities are endless.

Not every co-creation journey is the same. It depends on your strategy, audience, and intended outcome. Ultimately, you need tools that are as flexible and unique as your own products and customers.

No matter what your needs are, it’s clear that an overwhelming majority of your customers want to co-create with you before you launch your next product

That is why Vurvey’s co-creation software includes support for multiple question types, QR codes, 3D augmented reality, and a flexible campaign builder. But many of you have said that you need even greater flexibility in creating campaign questions.

So today, we are excited to share two new questions types that we have added to the campaign builder including Multiselect and Ranking. Here’s how it works:

Multiselect

With Multiselect, you can allow your audience to select multiple answers in a given question. When using multiple selections, it’s a good idea to let your audience know that they can select multiple answers.

For example, you can ask your audience to talk about how they improve their mental health? Or perhaps talk about all the things that are important when researching a new product to buy?

Keep in mind that allowing multiple selections might be harder to analyze than single answer responses, since you may not have a clear “winner” during your campaign.

Ranking

Now you can quickly ask your audience to answer by stack ranking a provided set of options. The ranking makes it easy to provide multiple options (either in order or randomized) and have your audience arrange them in a certain order.

When your audience gets to a Ranking question, they can click and drag options around until the choices are in their preferred order. The UI is simple and effortless, which makes Ranking a powerful tool in your co-creation campaigns.

This makes it possible to ask great questions like what amenities are most important when booking a hotel? Or you could ask a more broad question like, what factors are most important when buying food for your family?

Ultimately, creating campaigns is part art and part science. It’s important to ask not only the right type of question, but to use the best question for your goals.

That is why Vurvey offers a variety of question types. Some are very popular and used for insights and validation, while others are used more for research purposes. No matter what questions you ask, make sure you have a clear understanding of your co-creation strategy before you begin.

Hopefully you enjoy these new questions and use them in future Vurvey campaigns. We plan on launching more question types soon, so stay tuned.
